Just wanted to share a couple of cute things Carson got this weekend.

Grandma Lynch got him a "lovey" to take with him where ever he goes!

The weeks are just flying by! I am 24 weeks and can not believe our baby boy will be here in about 16 weeks! Things are going well, besides the occasional growing pains.

Snow Days!

Oklahoma had a huge snow fall amount on Monday night/Tuesday day, so I have been out of school since Monday! I've been busy cleaning and reorganizing around the house. Kyle also got to enjoy a couple of snow days, but he had to go back to work today. I have really enjoyed getting to hang around the house and "nest" but I am really ready to get out of the house now!

Once we saw the forecast called for snow, we knew school would be out, so we bought a can of paint for the nursery.

This is the comfy chair our grandparents got us. We already love sitting and rocking in it.

This week I am 23 weeks along! We went to our monthly doctor's appointment today. I have finally gained weight, 5 lbs, since the last visit in December. Carson was very active today while the doc was trying to get his heart beat. She had to press down on one side of my belly to get him to stop moving to get a good heart beat reading. His heart beat was in the 150s. The doctor and the nurse laughed about how wiggly he was and said, "Good luck with that one!" So we may have a very hyper boy on our hands! Everything else still looks great. At our next appointment we have our Glucose test. Hopefully, I haven't let me sweet tooth get too out of control.

I am a little over 22 weeks today! I can not believe I have gone through more weeks than I have left. The second trimester has been flying by. The first trimester seemed to last forever, which could have been due to the fact I was extremely tired.

Carson has been very active here lately! Every time I feel him move it takes my breath away. It is such an amazing gift God has given us! Kyle is super disappointed that he isn't able to feel him yet.

Our dr. appointment for this week had to be rescheduled so we go back for our monthly check up next Tuesday. I am anxious to see how much weight I have gained. (Especailly since my sweet tooth has started over taking my brain!) My belly is getting a lot fuller. I've started wearing some maternity clothes. I can get in to most my regular clothes but the maternity clothes are so much more comfortable, especially the pants. It may be very hard to go back to zippers and buttons after this!

We have not done anymore work on the nursery. We are hoping to paint soon. Our amazing grandparents got us a beautiful comfy chair for the nursery. I'll add pics of it soon!

Other than baby, life is good. Kyle has started his "busy" season so he is working a little later than usual. School is flying by and now that I have more energy I am back to nesting and get things done around the house!

We've been nursery shopping!

Our crib came in over the weekend and we were so excited to get it we have it all set up and ready to go! Unfortunately, we still have 19 weeks to go till we can use it.

Half Way!

I'm a little over 20 weeks today, so we are half way there!! I can not believe how fast time is flying by. I'm still feeling good but the belly is getting bigger and rounder everyday! I don't think belly bands and rubber bands will work much longer.

We ordered the crib Monday, now I can't wait for it to get here! I am very excited to get the ball rolling on the nursery. I am pretty sure we are going with a sports theme.

Life other than the baby is good! We are just enjoying our time together before Kyle starts his busy season.

Carson Ross Bertholf

We have decided on a name, Carson Ross Bertholf! Knowing the baby is a boy and having a name for him makes it even more exciting and real. We just can't wait for Carson to be here!!

I am a little over 19 weeks today, almost half way!! I have a little bump now. Below is a picture, you may have to look real close to see it. I apologize for my appearance, we were on our way to bed when Kyle took the picture. I have also started having heartburn! Luckily it is easy to cure with a Tums. Other than that things are going great!
